We are partnering with two esteemed maritime training institutes in the Philippines: United Marine Training Centre (UMTC) in Manila and GigaMare in Subic Bay. These institutes are renowned for their excellent facilities, experienced instructors, and a strong track record of producing high-quality ETOs.

Programme Overview:

• Duration: 4.5-month academic semester followed by a minimum of 8 months onboard training.
• Eligibility: Electrical Engineering graduates or those with degrees in related fields such as Electronics and Communications Engineering, or Industrial Technology with a major in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
• Sponsorship: All cadets will be sponsored on day one by an IMEC Member participating in the programme.

Training Details:

• Academic Training: The course includes both theoretical and practical elements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the ETO role.
• Onboard Training: Cadets will complete a Training Record Book (TRB) during their shipboard training.
